⚠️ Suspicious Vehicle in Hixon ⚠️

We are asking residents in Hixon to remain vigilant, following reports of a suspicious van seen driving slowly past houses in Hixon, at approximately 08:50am this morning.

While there are currently no reports of criminal activity, this type of behaviour can sometimes be associated with opportunistic crime. We are encouraging residents to take a few simple precautions.

✅ Crime Prevention Advice:

Ensure all doors and windows are locked, even when at home

Remove valuables from view, especially in vehicles

Keep car keys away from doors/windows and consider using signal-blocking pouches

Make sure sheds, garages, and outbuildings are secure

Consider installing CCTV or doorbell cameras where possible

Report any suspicious activity or vehicles, noting descriptions and registration numbers if safe to do so
